The Jasmine Moran Children's Museum: A great place for the tykes to play all day!

Apr 20, 2010

The Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum offers 28,000 square feet of indoor fun for children to explore and play all day. There is also an outdoor play area where children can ride the SuperSONIC Express. There is also a 12,000 square foot Castle Maze with four interlocking mazes that test your memory, not to mention your sense of direction.

Founders Jasmine and Melvin Moran have developed an energizing educational center for the children of Oklahoma to enjoy. The focus of the museum is to allow children to learn about a variety of careers from a pin-sized vantage point built to scale. Through educational play children can learn the wonders of many career fields that they might possible work in some day.

One of the newest exhibits is called Centennial Hospital—step into the surgery room to perform heart bypass surgery, hear what a patient’s stomach sounds like and take care of a baby in an incubator. There is even a real ambulance to ride.  In the Science Works exhibit, explore the world of science through hands-on imagination stations and a weather works simulator. Other fun exhibits set action in motion with a kinetic energy machine.

There is a gift shop and café located at the Museum. Be sure to stop by for a snack and a souvenir—choose from toys, cloths, books, games and more. The Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum is a great place to host your child’s next birthday party, offering a variety of party packages that includes cake, ice cream, a t-shirt, party favors and more.

So, get the kids out to Seminole for a fun-filled day of learning and exploration today! Visit the website for more information on special events and programs at the Museum.
